Shipping Policy

At Mantis Mayhem, all orders are shipped via Royal Mail, using the most appropriate service based on your order contents. Our available shipping options include:

Tracked 48 (Dispatched Monday–Thursday)

  • Best suited for non-live items, such as caster maggots, sphagnum moss, digital thermometers, and other small accessories that qualify for large letter post.

  • This option is automatically selected at checkout when eligible.

Tracked 24 (Dispatched Monday–Thursday)

  • Suitable for all items, including live invertebrates.

  • This service usually arrives within 24 hours of dispatch (not from the time of order placement).

  • While delays are extremely rare, any issues are fully covered by the Mantis Mayhem Guarantee.

Special Delivery (Next Day Guaranteed) (Dispatched Monday–Friday)

  • Our fastest and most secure delivery option, commonly used for Saturday deliveries.

  • Guaranteed next working day arrival after dispatch.

Dispatch Schedule

  • Orders placed before 11:00 a.m. (UK time) Monday to Thursday are dispatched the same day.

  • Special Delivery orders placed before 11:00 a.m. on Fridays will also be dispatched the same day.

Cold Weather Policy

We do not ship any orders when the temperature is 0°C or below, as heat packs become ineffective and the welfare of live animals may be compromised.

Important Notices

  • Bank Holidays are excluded from all dispatch schedules. No orders are shipped on UK Bank Holidays, as Royal Mail does not operate on these days.

  • Any important shipping updates, such as weather-related delays or posting suspensions, will be announced on our social media platforms. We recommend following us to stay up to date with the latest information and any day-of changes.
